Our specialist knowledge and expertise in PWS enables us to effectively support individual’s unique needs. Our dedicated support teams nurture each person’s strengths and abilities while also understanding and managing their daily emotional, physical, behavioural and social challenges. We build collaborative relationships with families to understand their loved one’s journey and experience of PWS and how we can best support them in adulthood.
The right lifestyle structure and support
In addition to providing the right lifestyle and support structure to ensure food consumption is effectively managed, there is a strong focus on supporting individuals to develop a positive relationship with food and to use strategies to maintain a healthy diet.
Supporting individuals to live meaningful, fulfilling lives
We want people to thrive and use person centred planning to support individuals to work towards their personal goals and enjoy a good quality of life.
A sense of community
Individuals predominantly live in a shared setting with others with PWS; this not only provides peer support but also a strong sense of community – individuals understand and support each other to maintain healthy exercise and eating habits, forming strong friendships in the process.
