Mental health and wellbeing
Research shows that individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome are more likely to experience mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. For example, someone with PWS may experience significant anxiety due to changes in their routine, or in relation to food, while low mood can lead to increase in problem behaviours such as skin picking.
