Helen's Story
Bailey and I were supported during his transition from a main stream school into a SEN school.
His previous school were excluding him often due to insufficient training to manage him or have the appropriate space to accommodate his behaviours. This was greatly impacting on his ability to learn and he was performing well below where he would have liked to have hoped to have been. Patsy, particularly was supportive and dialled into a Teams meeting together with the Head Teacher and the EHCP coordinator to ensure my voice was heard and she was able to articulate from a professional perspective where the school were letting Bailey down. As a result the local authority agreed SEN placement and Baileys last few weeks at his previous school were an enjoyment rather than a negative lasting experience.
I have had recent cause to request Patsy's services again due to some further changes with Baileys behaviour and she is this time assisting to get further teams involved from the health and local authority to support Bailey and I.
