PWS family day at MOD Lyneham

JHorsfall • Apr 06, 2022

An exciting one-off opportunity for families in our community to explore MOD Lyneham.

Thanks to our Chair of Trustees, we have a one-off opportunity to explore MOD Lyneham, in Chippenham, Wiltshire, on Monday 30th May, with no other members of the public around.

Activities and attractions at this exciting free family event, which is being organised as part of PWSA UK's 40th anniversary celebrations, include:

- A special assault course suitable for all, including those with PWS

- Seasonal trails full of objects to spot and questions to answer, designed to get children engaged with the REME Museum on-site

- An opportunity to explore the museum, including the chance to stand next to a tank, amongst many other items

- A brand new play park

- Opportunities to meet soldiers, ask questions and find out more about life in the army

To register for this free event, which runs from 10am to 3.30pm, please click here.
