Financial help

Life with a family member with PWS can often mean additional expenses for the household, and any additional financial help that can be obtained can be useful. Although a diagnosis of PWS doesn’t automatically entitle families to financial support there are some allowances that can be applied for. A family's circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis, against the set criteria in each situation.

Sources of Financial Support

Applications can be long, take significant time and can be a challenge to complete. However, our leaflet, Government Allowances and Sources of Financial Help, contains guidance to help you, and we can provide advice and/or a letter to support your application, if required.
